Friend Good- Olivia Collette
From day one this year, a theme for me has been vulnerability. This year, I have seen God most clearly in my relationships, especially those in which I have been able to be truly vulnerable. I have always loved people and relationships, but hated vulnerability. I’m learning though that one doesn’t come without the other. Frankenstein (‘s monster) understands this. All he wants is community and he keeps putting himself out there, even though he continues to get pushed away. I took this picture of Franken-meter because it has been a reminder all year that the kind of friendships and community worth sharing requires a whole lot of vulnerability, and that the result is totally worth the hard work. Friend good, indeed.
