THE REVEREND CANON Rebecca Crummey, Executive Director of Colorado Episcopal Service Corps & Program Director of St. Columba House

The Reverend Canon Rebecca Crummey, Program Director, is also the Vicar at the Episcopal Church of Saint Peter and Saint Mary. She is delighted that her passion for community organizing and re-imagining the church is being fed by The Colorado Episcopal Service Corps. She grew up in Illinois, and has lived in Colorado for ten years, and feels like it is home. Besides organizing church people Rebecca is a certified yoga instructor, loves to cook and reads a lot. She and her husband Rick Morris love spending time in the mountains and hanging out with their many nieces and nephews.

Mary is a Colorado native who has been ‘back’ in the state since 2000. She has a B.A. in Russian and Economics from Wellesley College and an M.B.A. in Business Policy and Marketing from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business. After working in the corporate world for Nielsen Media Research, Oracle and a dotcom start-up, Mary left to be a stay-at-home mom, and has 3 kids ages 19, 16, and 14 with her husband of 21 years, Tim. She has spent the majority of the last 20+ years volunteering in her kids’ schools and other non-profit organizations close to her heart. Mary most recently worked as a part-time teacher’s aide in a kindergarten classroom. She is delighted to join the Colorado ESC and support the service corps members and program in every way possible. In her few spare minutes of free time, Mary enjoys hiking, eating great food and binge watching series she’s been trying to catch up on for years.


Pennie Goodman – Bookkeeper 


Pennie is the mother of 7 (3 birth, 4 adopted) children, and the grandmother of 17 grandchildren, and the great grandmother 1 great-grandchild. She got her BA Child Psychology and a minor in Accounting at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She did her Masters work in Child Development Psychology at CU Denver. She has worked in several non-profits and in accounting over the years. After having worked in bookkeeping and accounting in her early years, she has returned to this work in her later years and enjoys working for the Colorado Episcopal Foundation and the Colorado Episcopal Service Corps. She is happiest when she is being creative: gardening, making dolls, drawing and painting and being with her family, in her multi-generational household. She is married to Cary.
